Cleaning
Stripper Shoes
Some concrete products
are more difficult to produce than others - the "L" Corner Split
Ledge block is a good example of this.
The existence of the
transverse knife hinders the effectiveness of the wiper brush causing an
accumulation of concrete on the stripper shoes. To manufacture quality
product, the block producer must stop production every few cycles to
manually clean this area.
To resolve this
problem, Besser has designed a special plunger with retractable
shoes (part number 18-4321), shown below.
