Fill
Roller Cavities on Packerhead Machines
This is a production
idea aimed at keeping your packerhead machine running better and saving
time on rollerhead cleanup. First, make sure all cavities are clean, then
simply spray insulation foam into the cavities of each roller. Let the
foam expand, set, and harden - usually overnight - then trim off the
excess.
Use of the foam
prevents concrete from filling up the roller cavities, thus keeping down
the weight of the rollers. This allows the pipe machine to run more
smoothly. Also, rollerhead cleanup time is reduced since one foam
application can keep concrete out for a considerable period of
time.
