BiDi Rollerhead Maintenance 
Monthly or no more than 20 Hours

Change:

• Grease…use EP-1 or equivalent
• Gear Oil…80w-90
• Hydraulic Oil…68w
• Check vibration isolators on bellpacker.
  

	Replace pressure and return filters on hydraulic power unit. Check oil level (should be in sight glass with crosshead in down position).
	Refill with 68w oil.
	Check oil temperature during normal operation (temperature should be 120 degrees Fahrenheit to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Should not go above 160 degrees Fahrenheit).
	In Crosshead:

• Grease zerks for upper bearing in gear boxes.
• Check charge pressure on pumps (should be 325-400 PSI).
• Check oil level in crosshead reservoir.
• Check and clean water strainer.

	Check level of gear oil in the speed reducers for the conveyor drive, table turner, McCracken Style Belldown unit, and top table bell formers.
	Check temperature on crosshead gage, (should be 135 degrees Fahrenheit – 150 degrees Fahrenheit, and never over 180 degrees Fahrenheit). High temperature siren will sound if temperature in reservoir reaches 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
