The Strapacker II V is an automatic system for strapping vertical cubes. The system indexes loads into position, applies perforated corner lock material, signals the strapping head to apply vertical poly or steel strap, and discharges the strapped cube.

Standard Features

• Heavy duty gravity roller bed
• Hydraulic pusher gate indexes cubes of concrete products through the strapping station
• Double compression bars with 27" (686 mm) clamps apply pressure to assure gaps are closed between concrete products before strap is applied
• Four corner lock dispensers with perforators apply top and bottom edge lock material that ties cubes together
• Signode KLS Steel Strap System or MHT 80 Poly Strap System includes frame, track, strap head and mount, and powered 100 lb strap dispenser

Controls

• Main control panel with Allen-Bradley SLC™ 5/03 and PanelView™ 550 provides integrated control of conveyors, indexer and strap head

• Integration of customer supplied poly or steel strapping head
• 10' (3048 mm) powered roller conveyor separates strapped packs for placement of horizontal strap

Optional Enhancements

• Additional compression station breaks the production bond and includes a 5 degree pivot mount for strap head and track which assures strap tension on non-rectangular shapes
• Infeed slat conveyor moves filled pallets (with or without bottom boards) into pushoff area
• Paver pusher indexes full loads of pavers off of the production pallets and into the strapper. (This option can also be used with semi-automatic strappers for pavers).
• Pallet stacker accumulates empty production pallets once the paver pusher indexes the cube off of the pallet. The stacker includes stack lift, stack support latches and hydraulic controls.
• Infeed chain conveyor moves filled pallets with bottom boards into pushoff area
