Heavy-Duty Flared End Form Equipment
Vertical Flare
With versatility and
durability, Besser vertical wet cast flared end forms have been
setting the industry's standards for years. Two styles are available in a
wide variety of sizes:
- The widely-accepted full-length
flare design
- The half-length
flare design, required for certain specifications
All vertical flare
forms can be equipped with a permanent bell or with detachable bell and
spigot sections. Bell modifications can be made to match individual
producer joint requirements. Besser also manufactures wet cast flare forms and
equipment for arch and oval pipe.
Horizontal Flare
To compliment to
our popular line of wet cast flared end equipment is the efficient,
effective horizontal flare form. As with all Besser equipment, these
forms are fabricated using heavy gauge steel. Both the core and the
jacket are of solid constructions with heavy reinforcement.
Ease of operation has
been engineered into the form set. The open top simplifies pouring and
vibration results are readily visible. Each core has a machined-taper
skirt section to insure
proper stripping from the cured concrete.

With the release of two
locks, the core is ready to strip, and a standard, hydraulically-activated
stripping mechanism is used to free the core from the concrete. Fork
guides inside the core
facilitate its removal by fork truck.
After removal of the
core, the product is lifted from the jacket, which has tapered sides for
easier stripping. The pallet and adaptor plate are then removed to complete the strip.
