Interlock Station*
The Block Interlock
Station is a pre-patterning device located between the depalleter and
cuber. The Block Interlock uses powered rollers to position three standard
block, then lifts the last two block up off the conveyor rollers and
rotates the block 90 degrees. The block are then lowered back on to the
conveyor rollers and discharged. This device saves time at the
patternmaker. The patternmaker receives block three at a time instead of
one or two block at a time and does not have to make the already completed
tie pattern. It is recommended that 20' (6096 mm) of lineshaft conveyor upstream and downstream of the Block Interlock.
